Portraits
DescriptionOutdoor portrait of a little girl and a young boy standing in front of a large flowering bush. Both are holding branches and flowers from the bush in their arms. The whole bush is in the picture, and the children look small in comparison. Trees are visible behind the bush. Both are wearing hats with wide brims, and their shadows and the shadow of the bush are cast on the ground behind them. Perhaps the work of HH or RM Cole, active in central Illinois from 1854-1902.
