DescriptionThe Palace Theater was located at 435 Main St, next door to a Fannie May candy store, a jewelry store, and a soda shop. The marquee reads: "Shelley Winters- Barry Sullivan- Kent Taylor "Playgirl", John Carroll- Mala Powers "Geraldine"." The Palace appears to be a three story building with columns and other architectural elements on the second and third floors. There are two automobiles parked along the curb and pedestrians on the sidewalk. This image can be found in Ray Brian's Pictorial History of Peoria Amusements, Book Two.
