DescriptionOutdoor portrait of a woman and a toddler. The woman is kneeling on a sidewalk, and she has both hands on the waist of the toddler so that the toddler can stand on the sidewalk. She is looking down at the toddler, and the top of her head is visible. Her hair is rolled and braided into a bun on the top of her head. In the background are trees, grass, and a house. The woman has glasses, and both are wearing dresses. Perhaps the work of HH or RM Cole, active in central Illinois from 1854-1902.
