DescriptionOutdoor scene of a parade proceeding down a street lined with storefronts and a crowd of men and women. A line of automobiles are in the parade and they are in the distance. Teams of horses are pulling carts with women and a banner held up by two poles. The American flag and other patriotic decorations are hung overhead across the street. All the shops are decorated with banners and have windows and signs. One sign on a building in the middle of the picture says "Matthew." Nearly all the men and women are wearing hats. Perhaps the work of HH or RM Cole, active in central Illinois from 1854-1902.
