DescriptionThis image shows the Madison Theater and the surrounding businesses. There is a greeting card store next to the theater that advertises fountain gifts and coca-cola. On the other side of the theater is Webb's Bank. The marquee reads: "All thrilling 3 dimension show, "House of Wax" plus Phantom of the Rue Morgue." There are pedestrians walking across the cross walk and cars stopped at the intersection. This image can be found in Ray Brian's Pictorial History of Peoria Amusements, Book Two.
