DescriptionOutdoor portrait of a boy dressed in a Native American costume complete with a feather headdress that goes down his back, fringed leggings, and a jacket. His profile is facing the camera, and he is down on one knee on a grassy bank. Behind him are trees, and he is aiming a bow and arrow over the water in front of him. He is leaning backwards while doing this. Perhaps the work of HH or RM Cole, active in central Illinois from 1854-1902.
