| Description | Indoor scene of two men with the one on the right sitting at a table covered with watches and watch making equipment. The one on the left is wearing a suit and is standing beside the table and looking down at it. The man sitting at the table is wearing just a shirt, vest, and pants, and he has a magnifying eye piece and is looking closely at a watch. Above the table and between the two men is a sign that reads: "Waltham Watches Go All Over The World." The sign has a large bird in flight holding a pocket watch in its talons. The men are dressed differently, but their faces look similar. Perhaps the work of HH or RM Cole, active in central Illinois from 1854-1902. |
