DescriptionOutdoor portrait of a little girl standing on a chair in front of a large flowering bush. She is holding branches and flowers from the bush in her arms. She is wearing a dress, stockings, and shoes with the laces tied into bows. The hem of her dress has a fluted design. Shadows from the flowers are cast on her face. Her body is turned slightly to the side, and she is looking that direction. Perhaps the work of HH or RM Cole, active in central Illinois from 1854-1902.
