| Description | The photograph shows a table prepared for the Peoria Historical Society Preservation Ball which was held in September 1979 in Peoria, Illinois. The table is set with china, glassware, napkins in the water glasses, bottles of wine, floral centerpieces, and candles. At each place is a salad and a brochure with a picture of Peoria City Hall on the cover. Behind the table is a display of photographs of scenes and people. There are two windows above the display. In front of the display is a narrow table holding piles of papers. At the end of the dinner table is a doorway with a map of the city attached to the door. |
