DescriptionThe slide reads: "Peoria Courthouse 2/3/78. Glen Belcke, 1078-75-25." The photograph shows Glen Belcke at the Lincoln Heritage Trail Ceremony at the Peoria County Courthouse on February 3, 1978. The sculpture behind Mr. Belcke is named "Harvest". It is a female figure holding ears of corn in her apron. The companion sculpture "Peace" is a male figure with a dove in its hand. They were constructed during the Depression and stood at the tuberculosis sanitarium on Galena Road. They were moved to the courthouse plaza, then moved again to make way for an addition to the courthouse. They currently stand before the Becker Building at the corner of Main & Jefferson Streets.
