DescriptionThe photograph shows an unidentified saloon in Peoria, Illinois. There is a sign painted on the front window. A group of men are sitting on a log or railroad tie in front of the building with another man standing further back. Near the door of the saloon a person wearing a long apron, is standing. The two story building has several chimneys, many windows, and swinging doors at its entrance. A horse and wagon are standing to the left of the building and a utility pole is on the building's right side.
