DescriptionThe slide reads: "1980/38/58." The photograph shows a view of Peoria's west bluff taken from the Lehmann Building. In the center of the foreground is Sacred Heart Church. Directly across the street from the church is a parking lot on land which is now part of the Peoria Civic Center. To the right of the church is a portion of a brick building which may be part of the Pere Marquette Hotel. Beyond the church are several commercial buildings. In the distance more buildings are visible among the trees. There are signs on some of the buildings which aren't readable from this distance.
