On the left side of the photograph the top of the Madison Theater, the Post Office (now Federal Court Building), the First Methodist Church, YMCA, and Methodist Hospital are visible. Along the right side of the picture is the First National Bank Building with an American Flag on the roof, a motel (now site of Holiday Inn City Center), the Shrine Mosque, and in the distance OSF St Franics Medical Center. The Shrine Mosque (brown brick building with two pale blue turrets) is now the Riverside Community Church. A Texaco gas station is to the left of the Shrine Mosque. The Lehmann Building was demolished after there was a fire in the building. The site is now the Twin Towers at Main and Jefferson Streets.
