DescriptionThe slide reads: "Centennial Parade 1980/38/21." The photograph shows the Old Settlers Centennial Parade on Madison Street in Peoria, IL. Several marchers in period costumes are followed by a wagon drawn by draft horses and a rider on horseback. The wagon has a sign on the side reading "Pabst Brewing Company." There is a band and several other men riding on the wagon. They are approaching the corner of Main and Madison Streets. The side of the Madison Theater is visible with the Pere Marquette Hotel across Main Street.
