DescriptionThe slide reads: "Old Settlers Centennial Parade, 1980/38/13." The photograph shows a portion of the Old Settlers Centennial Parade on Adams Street in Peoria, Ill. Two people are riding in a small cart pulled by two ponies. Two people in period costumes follow the cart with another horsedrawn wagon behind them. They are passing Mary Jane Shoe Store at the corner of Main and Adams Streets. K-Mart is located next to Mary Janes. There are people standing along the curb watching the parade and a policeman stands in the street. The store buildings are each at least four stories in height.
