DescriptionThe slide reads: "1981/24/4." The photograph shows the interior of the Palace Theater in Peoria, IL prior to its demolition. The building had leaded glass windows, arches, and other architectural and decorative elements. There are theatrical posters on either side of the photograph with a sign in the center reading "Special Today." The Palace Theater was on Main Street and was demolished to make way for the Twin Towers.
