DescriptionThe Duchess Theater was located at 311 S Adams St and operated by the Seavor and Robinson Co. It opened in 1912 and closed in 1925. This picture includes the front of the Duchess Theater with a marquee that reads: "Duchess, Leo Maloney, The Blood Bond & Two ____ Senne_." There are pedestrians outside the building, signs, and theatrical posters. Another sign reads: "Everybody's Going! Greater Movie Season." This image can be found in Ray Brian's Pictorial History of Peoria Amusements, Book Two
