DescriptionThe Empress Theater was located at 415 Main St, built by the Robinson Amusement Company and ran from about 1910 to 1920. A sign for Puff Cigars is visible as well as advertisements for the Smith Bros, Firestone Tires, and Graham-Seltzer Co. There are pedestrians walking on the sidewalk in front of the theater. This image can be found in Ray Brian's Pictorial History of Peoria Amusements, Book Two.
