DescriptionSlide reads: "Peoria Court House 1876 w/Civil War Monument ded. 1899, Peoria, Ill 12-18-60." The photograph shows the three story Peoria County Courthouse with a porch, columnes and a balcony. A flight of steps leads up to the porch. On top of the building is a domed cupola with windows and clocks. The Civil War monument with figures of soldiers surrounding a column, topped by a figure of an eagle is near the left side of the picture. Other commercial buildings are shown in the background.
