DescriptionThe slide reads: 138. The photograph shows a view of Adams Street in Peoria, Illinois looking north east from Fulton Street. There are horses and wagons on the street. The buildings along the street are generally two or three stories in height. On the left side of the street, a sign on the side of a building is partially visible and includes "& Powell, teas, sugar, syrup and butter." A sign near the top of another building shows a picture of an animal. There are streetcar tracks in the middle of the street.
