DescriptionThe site of the Amberline Theater in Peoria, Illinois. At the time of this photograph there was a closed Bell Clothing store. The address is the intersection of Adams and Chestnut, now State Street. There is an advertisement for Nunn Bush Shoes and Clipper Craft Clothes. Some signs on the building read: "Good Clothes for Less, " and "Outfitters for Men and Boys." The store is closed and there is a sign that says for sale or lease. This Bell location closed in 1974. This image can be found in Ray Brian's Pictorial History of Peoria Amusements, Book One.
