DescriptionCaption reads: "Planters' House" 1840; Renamed "Peoria House" 1854; E. Cor. N. Adams & Hamilton. The building appears to be three or four stories tall with many chimneys. The road outside the hotel appears to be cobblestone and has pedestrians standing outside it. There is a small balcony on the second floor with people standing on it.
