DescriptionThe Coliseum on Adams and Hancock, was an open auditorium for public meetings, gatherings, and conventions that opened in May 1901. There are some columns at the entrance and some pedestrians standing outside the building. There is a tree in the foreground that is fenced in. This image can be found in Ray Brian's Pictorial History of Peoria Amusements, Book Three.
