DescriptionCaption on the back reads: "Original Bartonville Grade School, No Additions Shown, S. Adams & Garfield Sts. Bartonville." The school is brick with two central chimneys. The windows that are not bricked partly shut have small curtains. The main door has an arched over hang and large windows over it. Over these windows is carved: "Bartonville School 1906." A dog is sitting in the front doorway, and paved sidewalks are around the building. Houses, barns, and trees are in the background.
