DescriptionDr. Rudolphus Rouse's Performance Hall was located at the North West corner of Main and Jefferson Streets, and played host to many theatrical and opera companies. It was called "Main Street" theater after 1902. The image shows awnings on some windows, power lines, steps leading up to the building, and pedestrians. This image can be found in Ray Brian's Pictorial History of Peoria Amusements, Book One.
