This book "H.A. VanderCook the Teacher" was published by VanderCook College of Music in 1971. Author Gilbert Edwin Wilson composed the text in fulfillment of his Doctor of Musical Arts at the University of Missouri at Kansas City in 1969. The book augmented the dissertation with 22 photographs from the VanderCook College archives. This online version augments the book with new color scans of these same original images, and provides MP3 audio recordings of the full text of the book. The online version of this book was made possible by funding from a 2008 CARLI "local history online" award.
