Swedish-American Historical Quarterly
The Swedish-American Historical Quarterly is an academic journal published continuously since 1950 by the Swedish-American Historical Society. The title of the journal was the Swedish Pioneer Historical Quarterly from 1950 to 1983. Full of historic illustrations and substantial articles by researchers, noted authors, and leading academics, the Swedish-American Historical Quarterly documents and interprets the Swedish-American presence in North America.

The Swedish-American Historical Society
is a nonprofit organization founded in 1948. The Society maintains a mission of recording the achievements of the Swedish pioneers by studying the emigration, history, and culture of the Swedes in North America through research, publications, programs, and archives. The Society maintains an archival collection called the Swedish-American Archives of Greater Chicago, which collects and makes available the rich documentary record of the Swedish-American experience in Chicago.
