Description
Andrew , his brother Harmon , and his father William , were conductors on the Underground Railroad in McDonough County . Harmon married Beulah Brown and Andrew married Beulah’s sister Lucinda . The Browns were central figures with the Underground Railroad in Quincy . Andrew and Harmon and their wives , William , and William’s wife Sarah , are all buried in Oakwood Cemetery . The woman standing beside the tombstone of Andrew and Lucinda is their great-great-great granddaughter , Mary Marjorie Sticklen .
