On Sunday, June 1, the Swedish Women's Chorus sang of midsummer flowers, "Midsommar blomstcr," and the scent of roses, "I rcsens doft," as they presented their 29th annual concert at the Swedish Club in Seattle, with Dr. Edward Palmason, tenor, guest soloist. The concert was a preview of the chorus' singing tour of Iceland and Swe-den, as many of the songs were the same ones sung in nine different concerts dur-ing the tour. The theme of the tour will be "Hiilsningar fran Svensk-Amcrika," and the chorus will represent the Amer-ican Union of Swedish Singers as well as Seattle. Concert places and dates: Reykjavik, Iceland, Aug. 2 Simrishamn, Skane, Aug. 5 Skara, Viistergotland, Aug. 6 Hudcne, Viistergotland, Aug. 7 Viixjo, Smaland, Aug. 8 Viixjo (Cathedral, morning service) Aug. 10 Viixjo (Minnesota Day) Aug. 10 Hudiksvall, Hiilsingland, Aug. 13 Ostcrsund, Jiimtland, Aug. 14 (Froso Church) Vamhus, Dalarna, Aug. 15 Brunskog, Viirmland, Aug. 16 The officers of the chorus are: Pres., Lilly Moen; vice pres.s Elna Peterson; sec'y, Elna Ryan; treas., Sharon Swift.
