Documenting WIU Activism is an archives project which collects oral histories, photographs, and ephemera related to activist events on Western Illinois University's Macomb campus. The Project intends to accurately document and preserve campus activism so the diverse activities in our current political climate may be documented from the perspectives of the activists.

This work aims to create and co-create materials to fill gaps in WIU's archives regarding late 2010's campus activism. The Project's goal is to ensure that the voices of student and faculty movements, events, and organizations, as well as the materials they generate, are preserved in order to create a wealth of materials for current and future study.

This project was created, and is currently run, by the Leslie F. Malpass Library's Archives Graduate Assistant, Katrina Vandeven. It began in September, 2018.
