These photographs detail the growth and spread of the EFCA, starting with its predecessors the Swedish Evangelical Free Church and the Norwegian-Danish Evangelical Free Church Associations, from the denominations' beginnings in 1884. In addition to foundational members and prominent ministers, the collection depicts large group gatherings for evangelical conferences, Bible camps, youth organizations, ladies' societies and more.
Also included are photographs pertinent to the growth, development, and life of the EFCA’s two liberal arts colleges—Trinity International University and Trinity Western University—and their historical predecessors.
Items in this collection have been obtained from individuals and offices of Trinity International University and the Evangelical Free Church of America as well as the donations of various individuals.
