The Evangelical Free Church Directories present the reader with the official statistics and personnel of the Evangelical Free Church of America. Published annually, the directories document the growth and number of EFCA congregations in the United States as well as their pastors, ministers, and organizations.

Directories and congregational statistics were kept as early as the 1880s by the Swedish Evangelical Free Church and the Norwegian-Danish Free Church Association, the two predecessors of the modern EFCA. This practice continued after their merger in 1950 and directories are published to this day. Sometimes these directories were compiled into larger Year Books or Annual Reports; those have been excerpted from their larger volumes. Other times the directories were printed as standalone volumes; these are presented in full.
The EFCA directories are significant for tracking the spread of EFCA churches and people across the United States over time. As documents they list year after year the name, location, and address of various churches, as well as names of pastors and organization leaders (e.g. Choir, Sunday Schools, Young Peoples' Societies, etc.). Some listings will occasionally include membership figures, allowing the reader to tally the growth of individual congregations over time, where possible.
The EFCA Archives and the staff at Trinity International University's Rolfing Library will add more directories to this collection as time and resources allow. A near-complete run of the directories/year books can be found at the EFCA archives in Minneapolis, with Rolfing Library possessing copies going back to 1935.
