This collection contains the "letters home" from a Eureka College alumna (Annette Dyar, Class of '41) who left the small town to seek her fortune on the East Coast. The collection is unique in that their author is still alive and has has graciously licensed their use for digitization and access by local and social historians, as well as anyone else interested in the daily lives of the "Greatest Generation". Their scope is limited to the years of the Second World War, which makes up the entirety of the collection. They have been transcribed for keyword searchability.
